About PowderCam

PowderCam™ was born on a chairlift in Vail, Colorado. Vince Beerman was skiing with friends, enjoying an amazing powder day and wishing he could capture the feeling of those great turns.

Talking with fellow skiers, Vince realized that others would love the chance to replay their best days but had neither the equipment nor the know-how to get it done."What if I could rent a helmet camera, and then make a DVD of my day?" Vince asked himself. Thus PowderCam was born.

For a fraction of the cost of buying a camera, editing software and a DVD burner, skiers and riders can now rent a PowderCam and get a professional DVD of their best days. PowderCam™ partners with local rental shops to provide customers convenient access to the equipment. At the end of the day, the video footage is sent to PowderCam™ for editing and is burned to DVD. Customers can choose the level of editing and add music to their movie. Now everyone can replay their best days!
