Multi-Mountain Passes Continue to Grow

We’ve written about Multi-Mountain passes before and we believe it not only offers excellent value, but also lets you see many other great mountains. This year, some of the following passes have added some new mountains:

  • Mountain Collective pass has added two of the best mountains in North America: Telluride (Colorado) and Revelstoke (British Columbia).
  • Loveland Season Passes has added Powder Mountain (Utah). Powder Mountain is one of the biggest mountains in the U.S. with 7,200 acres of terrain and an average of over 500 inches of annual snowfall. The pass already features Monarch, Crested Butte, Purgatory, and Powderhorn. One thing that’s great about Loveland is that they love to compete and be the first mountain to open. So, they’ll be firing up the snow guns any day now for the annual Race to Open. They have been the first ski area in the nation to open for the season in eight of the past thirteen seasons. Love it!

Jackson Hole is offering $300 in airfare credits from ANY AIRPORT IN NORTH AMERICA

For many skiers, Jackson Hole is on their bucket list. With their infamouns Corbet’s Couloir and the amazing views of the Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Hole is one of the premiere mountains in the world. With their current promotion, this can be any mountain crossed off that bucket list.

Mt Bachelor Makes Large Investment into Mountain

For the 2016-17 season, Mt Bachelor is in the process of making a number of large investments into the mountain. They are currently adding a new East-side lift, Cloudchaser, which will open up 635 acres of new terrain. The lift is on schedule for a mid-December opening. As well, they are shortening the Rainbow lift. This will bring it down below the tree line and make it more weather-proof and accessible to a wider range of skier types. Other upgrades include improving their deck layout and surface, a new state-of-the-art radio system, and a new ticketing and point of sale system across the resort. It's sure to make Mt Bachelor even more enjoyable.
