In spite of not being as big as some of the nearby resorts (e.g., Alta and Snowbird), Brighton Ski Resort does have some key features that are worth pointing out. First, the mountain averages 500 inches of light, fluffy and dry snow making it very dependable for snow. Next, Brighton Ski Resort is Utah’s only resort that can boast that 100% of its terrain is accessible by high speed quads. Also, they have night skiing. Brighton Ski Resort has the most night skiing terrain in Utah with 22 runs on over 200 lighted acres. Lastly, Brighton Ski Resort does minimal advertising which leads to smaller crowds and cheaper lift tickets. The resort is a great combination of terrain and snow quality in a laid back atmosphere making it a great option for a day trip from Salt Lake or just something different while staying at a nearby resort.
