Located in southern Vermont, Bromley Mountain is small family-oriented mountain with a friendly staff. This is a great beginner mountain but with enough varied terrain for all levels to have a great skiing experience. Trails are nicely groomed and there are rarely crowded lift lines. This is why Bromley Mountain is highly ranked by Ski Magazine as one of the best family resorts in the eastern U.S. and Canada. The mountain has 47 trails and 3 terrain parks.
Bromley does have a few nice steep trails and a dedicated mogul area. But, for those who crave a lot of steeps and giant bumps, they should probably bypass Bromley Mountain. But for those looking for a laid back, friendly experience, where families can enjoy a nice relaxing day of skiing without breaking the bank, than Bromley Mountain should be on your list. It is a less expensive alternative to the nearby mountains. Bromley Mountain is a few miles from the neighboring town of Manchester, a quaint New England town with great restaurants, lodging and shopping.
Bromley Mountain Resort Tip:
- Bromley's focus is on families. Take advantage of their daycare (begins at children 6 weeks) and their ski school which takes kids as young as 2.5 years old. There are also great beginner packages for adults.
