Located in Vermont, Killington is known as “The Beast in the East”. With 155 trails and 22 lifts, Killington is the largest resort in the Eastern United States. It can also boast the largest vertical drop in the east at 3,050 feet. The variety and extensive number of trails make it one of the most popular mountains in the area. Killington has been ranked as high as #4 for best resort in the Eastern United States by Ski Magazine.
With a great lift capacity and a large number of trails, Killington provides skiers and riders of all ability a variety of terrain including wide-open groomed cruisers, steep moguls, and glades. For snowboarders and free skiers, Killington offers multiple terrain features on six terrain parks, including Burton's “The Stash”, an all-natural terrain park with more than 50 features, as well as a 500-foot long super-pipe with 18-foot walls.
Killington is also home to two of the most difficult runs in the world: Outer Limits and Devil’s Fiddle. Outer Limits is the longest, steepest mogul run in the east that seem as though it will never end. Another run at Killington that is rated as one of the toughest in the east is Devil’s Fiddle. The hill is steep with monstrous bumps that will throw you to unreal heights and has a cliff drop.
Killington is consistently one of the first mountains to open each season thanks to a large snow making capacity. Lift ticket also includes access to Pico Mountain giving you access to new runs on busy weekends which can often occur due to its popularity. Killington Village is famous for their après-ski with numerous restaurants and nightlife.
