Vail Resort has the most skiable terrain in the U.S. It has 195 trails over 5,289 acres with any type of skiing that you could imagine for all levels of skier/boarder from nice smooth greens to difficult steeps. The back bowls are fantastic. The views from the bowls are amazing and there is almost always fresh powder. Vail Resort has a large amount of groomed terrain with wide, long runs such as Riva Ridge, Born Free, Simba, Lodgepole, and Bear Tree. Vail Resort is also home to a 22 foot superpipe and has hosted the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships.

When people compare Vail Resort to other resorts, they don’t compare it to other Colorado resorts. They compare it to the rest of the world’s resorts. It is “world-class”. You’ll find numerous activities, festivals, shops and spas, an abundant number of quality restaurants, après ski, and luxurious accommodations. But, Vail does serve a high-end clientele and it can be expensive. So, if you want to experience Vail Resort but have limited funds, check out the deals online.
